Willow CD on CDBaby & iTunes Music Store
Listen to or buy the new CD by WILLOW, a "neo-retro" rock band featuring Elliot's lead guitar playing and his production work, as well as his songs "Shine On Through" and "Restless Love".
It can also be downloaded for your iPod from the iTunes Music Store, where a recently posted review says:
"This is a great indie album by a relatively unknown group in the NYC area. The sound is very classic rock, a bit of fusion between various styles that is reminiscent of the Jefferson Airplane/Starship at their mid-70s peak (Check out the rock stompers "With You In My Eyes", "Shine On Through", and "Sara"). The songs by E. Sokolov in particular are catchy and easy on the ears..." "The production is very confident and lush, the songs are infectious, and the whole package leaves you eager to know more about this band..."

UNHCR spot featuring Khaled Hosseini
Elliot Sokolov has provided music for 2 PSA's which can be seen on the web.
The spots, produced by Wildlight Productions, feature Khaled Hosseini, author of the internationally best-selling novel "The Kite Runner", and who is now an envoy for the UN Refugee Agency. Earlier this year, Hosseini visited UNHCR camps in eastern Chad where some 240,000 refugees from Darfur are sheltered. The trip was the result of his desire to see first-hand one of UNHCR’s most complex operations and to bring wider attention to the Darfur crisis.
